Refund and cancellation policy

This policy covers application packet audits and focused reviews delivered by SmartConnect API Audit. It does not cover products, physical goods, or subscription software—we do not sell those.

Eligibility

Full refunds apply when you cancel in writing before reading work has started and before the reserved reading window opens. Partial refunds may apply when cancellation occurs after intake but before memo delivery, reflecting hours already spent on your files.

Timeframe

Cancellation notices must arrive at least three business days before the scheduled reading start for a full refund of prepaid fees, excluding non-refundable deposits described below when work has already begun.

Deposits

The fifty percent deposit on full packet audits becomes non-refundable once auditors have opened your files. If we cancel the engagement for capacity reasons, the deposit is returned in full.

Work already started

Once annotated reading has begun, fees for completed portions are due. Remaining prepaid balances for unfinished portions may be refunded proportionally.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a clarification call once with at least twenty-four hours’ notice at no charge. Later changes may forfeit the call without refund of the session value.

No-shows

Missing a scheduled clarification call without notice forfeits that session. The written audit memo remains yours if already delivered.

Non-refundable items

Completed audit memos, delivered annotations, and recommender briefing packs already sent are non-refundable. Third-party courier or notarization costs you arranged separately are outside our refunds.

Process and timing

Email hello@smartconnectapis.digital with your name, engagement date, and reason. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method.

Exceptions

If illness or emergency prevents participation and you notify us promptly, we will attempt to reschedule before considering a partial refund. Guaranteed admissions or awards are not part of our offer and are not a basis for refund.
